Use: The Forstner drill bit produces
holes that are clean, round and flat-bottomed. These are
mostly used in wood working but are good for many applications such
as mounting mortised kitchen cabinet hinges. They are best
used in a drill press but give decent results in hand-held
drills. Forstner bits tend to be fairly expensive when
compared to other types of bits.
