Use: Excellent general purpose saw.
Good for general framing,
ripping and cutting tasks. Can normally produce angled cuts from 45
to 90 degrees. Depth of cut is also adjustable. "Normal" blade size is 7
1/4". Many different price points but good saws are not
prohibitively expensive. Safety note: This is an easy
saw to get very comfortable with. Never forget that it can
seriously injure you.
