The Tool Barn

Inside Corner Molding

Similar to the outside corner, the inside corner molding can me made with a table saw and sander.  Typically a cove molding is used on the inside corners.  We tested cove molding and the stain finish did not match well with the paneling.  In this project, inside corner molding was made from ripping a one-piece stock of tongue and groove paneling.

Use adhesive on the back of the molding.  Be sparing as this is very difficult to clean.

The baseboard is notched to accept the corner molding. Use a chisel or fine toothed backsaw.
