In the home I just bought, the fireplace is made of large stone (granite, slate I think). The former owners painted over it entirely in WHITE! and I would like to remove this paint to get back to the natural stone look.
Some people have recommended sand blasting, but I was wondering if anyone had other suggestions. I wanted to do something less invasive, but if this is my only choice, so be it.
