We have a bath tub with one of the ceramic grouted in towel racks. It has two ceramic end and a plastic bar that is square and solid that runs between the ends. Obviously the builder had the tile guy put it in during the tiling. Bar had to be put in before the second end was attached to the wall. The plastic bar has broken at our house but the ends are still fine and the tile is good. I don't want to chip an end out and to retiling if there is another way to put a towel bar in the ends. What can we do? If we found another plastic bar it wouldn't go in without moving on of the ends. Is there a spring loaded one that would work. I know we can't be the first that this has happened to.
