I assume you have a concrete basement floor. If your basement is dry and you do not have moisture problems, consider one of the new laminate floor materials. One manufacturer recommends that for low spots of more than 3/16" over a 6 ft section to use a leveling compound. Be sure to first lay a plastic moisture barrier between the concrete and underlay. You may also use a two-in-one foam such as our combo foam.
