Step 5:

Now staple the center rails of the window frame.  This should provide a taught screen.

Step 6:

To keep the screen securely in place and finish the edges, add sections of trim.  The material here is about 3/4 inch wide and 3/16 inch thick wood.

Step 7:

Layout the trim around interior edge of window frame.  You can miter the corners or simply butt the edges.

Step 8:

Be sure to paint the trim with two coats of paint before installing.  Use painted panel nails.

Step 9:

Trim the excess screen using a utility knife. Rehang the window frame with screws and exisiting hinges and that's it!
