You should purchase a ceramic tile hole saw, often used for plumbing fixtures and wall/floor tile. The price is $30 for carbide coated blade (http://www.tiletool.net/hole_saw_carbide.asp 1 3/8"). The diamond encrusted ones are much more expensive (http://www.tiletool.net/hole_saw_diamond.asp & http://www.lenoxsaw.com/grthlsw.htm).
